The INFLIBNET program was started in PSTU Library in September 2001. The UGC
has granted 6,50,000 as (one time) Non-recurring grant to establish an exclusive Computer Centre for Computerization of Library. Accordingly the Library has
established an exclusive Computer Centre with all LAN facilities; further the UGC has sanctioned annual recurring grants under various heads for maintenance of
Computer Section and retrospective conversion of Data entry. So far we have completed the data entry of bibliographical details for 25,000 English Books. The data
was also sent to INFLIBNET, Ahamedabad. Telugu Language books are due for data entry. we are searching for suitable software for data entry of Telugu Books. |
