He was a native of Kuchipudi Village in Krishna District.  He acquired knowledge of various works in Sanskrit at Varanasi.  He become saint Siddhendra, came to Kuchipudi, wrote Bhamakalapam and taught it to the Kuchipudi Dancers.  Satyabhama is the main character in this dance.  This style become popular worldwide.  Bhagavatas of Kuchipudi learned and practiced this dance and expended its limits.
