The veera saiva Sripati Pandita an embodiment of Lord Siva holding burning cindrels in his upper cloth to establish the gresteness of that religion. He alongwith Mallikarjuna Panditharadya and Basaveswara  were known as prophet trio of Veera Saiva religion. ‘Dharma Gupthabhyudaya’ of Kasinathuni Veeraradhya mentions that this incident took place near Vijawada.
